Tweed Rebrand

Rebranding Canada's first legal cannabis brand.

Challenge

Tweed, one of the first legal cannabis brands in Canada was beginning to lose share to the onslaught of new competitors. Most challenging was the fact that internally there were different articulations for the brand causing confusion for the sales teams and ultimately for the consumer. We needed to give the brand a clear purpose that would be attract today's legal cannabis shopper.

Solution

A brand strategy sprint was conducted with a cross-functional team. The team was able to come together and in 3-hours get aligned on their vision and how the brand needed to be represented. We took away the workshop outputs and developed a compelling brand story for Tweed. This story led to a new branding system and clear path to align sales, retail, product and marketing teams. By the end of the process the team felt united and invigorated with a clear path for the brand.
